How to link your Angel One Account to Optionlogy

Step 1
After logging in to Optionlogy, go to your account page and select ‘Add New’ from the Linked Brokers section.
Step 2
Select Angel One from the list of brokers. For further steps, you need your TOTP enabled in your Angel One account. TOTP is different from an Email or SMS OTP. It is an app based OTP that gets generated every 30 seconds. Some brokers, like angel one require you to enable this feature on your account to integrate it with external platforms.
If you do not have a TOTP enabled, or don’t know whether it is enabled or not, click on ‘Help me enable TOTP’ and continue to the next steps.
If you have a TOTP enabled, click on ‘TOTP already enabled’ and go to step 6
Step 3
In the next window, choose the appropriate option depending on the device and browser you are using. This will download a safe TOTP app or autheticator app on the device. For example, we are using Chrome so it will prompt us to download a Chrome extension.
Once downloaded, grant access to this app if required, as shown, and follow the steps in the page that opens.
Step 4
Go back to the Optionlogy window and follow the second step listed by clicking on the given link to enable your TOTP.
A window opens, asking you to login to your Angel One account. At the end of this login process, you will be shown a QR code.
Step 5
You can scan this code through the app/extension you downloaded in step 3, or you can use the key below the QR code and paste it in the app/extension at the required slot.
You will now be able to see a 6-digit TOTP code in the downloaded app/extension, which changes every 30 seconds. Your TOTP has been enabled successfully.
Step 6
Click ‘Done’ on the Optionlogy page, and the ensuing window will ask you to login to your Angel One account one final time. Enter your User ID, PIN and TOTP (from the TOTP app) and Login.
You will receive a confirmation that your account was linked successfully.
Step 7
Back in Optionlogy, click ‘Yes’ to confirm that your account was linked successfully.
