How to link your Zerodha Account to Optionlogy

Please note that Zerodha charges ₹2000 to purchase it's API that you need to buy from Zerodha directly. The steps are explained in detail below.
Step 1
After logging in to Optionlogy, go to your account page and select ‘Add New’ from the Linked Brokers section.
Step 2
Select Zerodha from the list of brokers. In the ensuing window, follow the first step and enter your Zerodha ID.
Step 3
Now click on the link ‘Zerodha’, provided in the next step. Alternately, you can open the link by clicking here (opens in a new tab).
A new window/tab will open, which is Zerodha’s developer page. You will have to create a developer account here. This is required as Zerodha links your account through an API, for which you need a developer account.
Once you enter the details, agree to the Terms and Sign Up, a window will appear as shown above.
To connect the account, we need API access, which requires 2000 credits, equivalent to ₹2000. Go to Billing tab as shown above and pay either through your Zerodha account or through any other payment option.
Step 4
Once your payment is successful, the credits will get added to your developer account. Now go to ‘My Apps’ tab, and click on ‘Create new app’. To enter the details in the page that opens, go back to Optionlogy page where you entered your Zerodha ID, and click ‘Next’.
From here, you can copy paste the required details into the dialogue box that appears. When all details are correctly pasted, you can click ‘Done’ on the optionlogy window.
Step 5
Click ‘Create’ on the Zerodha developed page. A confirmation box will appear, asking you to type ‘I UNDERSTAND’ for final confirmation. Click ‘OK’. The ₹2000 that you deposited will be deducted, and your API will be created.
Step 6
For the final steps, you need the API key and the API secret.
Go back to ‘My Apps’ in the Zerodha developer page, click on the App or API created. From the window that opens, click on ‘Show API secret’ as shown below.
Step 7
This is the last and final step in your Zerodha login process.
Copy the API key and Secret from your Zerodha page and paste it in Optionlogy. Click ‘Verify’ and a Zerodha window will appear for final confirmation.
Enter your password and Login. Your account is now connected. Enjoy Trading!
